I am back with a new restaurant for you guys to try if you haven't gone there already. I heard about it from my teachers at my academy and at school. It is called Amor y Tacos.
"Amor Y Tacos is more than tacos - although we do those great! We have a full menu of Mexican culinary staples, a tortilla station, a full liquor bar with a great selection of craft beers, wines, and sangrias, and even a burger!"
When I entered, the waiter greeted me and asked if I wanted a table, but I was just taking my meal to go. I asked for a menu and they had so many different kinds of tacos, burritos, enchiladas, soups, and salads. As I was looking at their items, they all sounded really good. Some of the ingredients were written in Spanish but it was stuff like "salsa picante" which is spicy salsa. I went with my sister and I was asking her which one sounded good to her. She looked at the menu and said, "I don't know what this is. It's in Spanish."
Anyway, I ordered a starter because I didn't have enough money on me to buy a taco for my family. I got the Tacos de mi Abuela. It cost $8 plus tax which is pretty good for four mini tacos with sour cream, extra salsa, queso cojita, and corn tortilla chips. They were really good but after eating too much salsa, it got really spicy (or that's just me because I don't have a high spicy food tolerance level). Overall, I would say if you are a fan of Mexican food, you have to try Amor y Tacos.
They have a website for their restaurant. To visit their website, click the button below. Thanks for reading this week's blog!
