read if you want. I don't care.
Hi friends. I wanted to share another one of my short stories. It's a single page short story... or supposed to be a single page short story. Anyway, hope you enjoy it.

∙ CHAPTER I ∙
Where am I?
It all happened so quickly. One second, I was just walking to work, and the next, I was in the back of an alley with cats and trash all over me. I struggled to get up and pulled my phone out of my ripped jacket.
79 new messages and voicemails
My eyebrows drew together in confusion.
When was the last time I checked my phone?
As I read through my new messages and listened to my voicemails, they all had the same message.
“I will find you and I will kill you.”
∙ CHAPTER II ∙
Chills ran down my spine as I glanced over my shoulders.
Why would anyone want to kill me? What did I do?
Looking at all the phone numbers, I realized they all had different area codes. There were some area codes that I didn’t even recognize.
How am I supposed to find this person?
Then, the last voicemail I listened to was in Morse Code, but because I didn’t know Morse Code, there was just numerous beeps and hums. All that I gathered was that it was short like a one word message.
∙ CHAPTER III ∙
Stumbling out of the alley, I ran to the closest store. I found a drug store and ran in.
“Hey, can I borrow a computer?”
Out of the shadows, a man in black said in a Russian accent, “I knew you would come to this store.”
Stunned, I backed up toward the door but it was too late. Two security guards grabbed my arms and I knew I was going to die.
Waving his cigar, he walked toward me as I struggled to free myself.
“Oh no. You’re not going to get away this time. No one ever escapes twice.”
∙ CHAPTER IV ∙
I did the only thing I could do. I did a backflip to escape the security guards and ran for the exit. Down the dark streets, I sprinted as fast as my feet will let me go. I can hear them behind me firing their guns at me.
What do they want? What do I have?
Just as I was about to round the corner, I felt a bullet hit my leg. As I fell, I heard their footsteps coming closer, knowing that death was near.
“You tried and see, you failed. Hasta la vista.”
That’s when I was headshot.
∙ CHAPTER V ∙
“CUUUUUUT!!! THAT’S A WRAP!!!”
I got up and wiped the fake blood off of my face.
“Hey good work today,” I said to the Russian mafia.
“Yeah man, same to you.”
And that was the end of another day on set of the new movie, Don’t Mess With Me.
