read if you want. I don't care.
They Both Die at the End by Adam Silvera is a story about two boys who receive a call from Death Cast, informing them that they could die within the next 24 hours.
This book was recently introduced to me by a friend during my AP statistics class. I knew it was going to be a good read when my friend started crying in class because he finished the book. Of course, for the title itself, we expect the two characters are going to die at the end of the book, but for some reason, I wanted there to be a twist where the two main characters actually live at the end. The minute I picked up the book, I knew I wasn't going to be able to put it down. This book took me back to my elementary school days when I would read any book that fell into my lap. Ever since I started high school, my number one priority has become homework and studying. Now that there is less work since I'm in my second semester of my senior year and it's spring break, I would read this book through the night and ride the emotional roller coaster with this book. It is definitely worth the read. It's similar to other books like If I Stay by Gayle Forman and Before I Fall by Lauren Oliver.
Some of my favorite quotes from the book are:
Thanks for reading this blog article. I really hope this encourages you to go out and read more books. (AND THIS BOOK) Reading is something that is becoming more and more creatively destroyed by e-books, kindles, and other PDFs. So please, go to your local library and kick back with a good book. There's definitely a difference between reading an e-book and reading a physical book.
As mentioned in the previous blog post, here are my thoughts on the North Italia Restaurant in Irvine. First off, this restaurant is one of the most ideal urban styled restaurant I have ever seen. It's just unexplainable. I would consider it a great place to go for a lunch date.
As for the general price range, it's pretty moderate. My pasta was $19, but I think it was worth it for the portion and the quality of the meal. This is what it looked like.
If I were to rate this restaurant, I would give it five stars. The service was amazing, our waiter was super nice, and our food did not take that long to be prepared. I definitely recommend giving this restaurant a try.

Anyway, hope you enjoyed today's review. If you get the chance to go try it, comment down below what you thought of the restaurant. Did you like it? Did you not? Also, leave some recommendations for me, too because I'm always looking for new places to go and try. Alrighty friends, thank you for reading and I'll see you next time. Peace!
HI FRIENDS!!! Sorry for the very late post. I have had such a crazy weekend. It is currently day four of spring break. On day one (last Friday), I went to pick up my cousin from UC Irvine and then we went out to eat lunch at the North Italia Restaurant (address and review coming soon), which is super close to the Irvine campus. After lunch, we went to get some Starbucks. This time, I got a... I forgot what I got. ANYWAY, after some Starbucks (because I'm kinda basic like that), we went to the lovely Newport Beach (tips on how to stay warm even on the coldest days at the beach coming soon) for some fun under the sun. Apparently (from the numerous Snapchat stories that I watched), everyone planned to go to the beach on Friday. Well, we all went to different beaches. I know. What a coincidence! After spending a couple hours at the beach, we went back to my house for my aunt to come and pick up my cousin. Instead of just picking her up, we went to 85 Degree Bakery and got some Chick Fil A for dinner. Honestly, it was a crazy day.
On Saturday (day two), I went to go hang out with my cousin again (same one) so we (my family, aunt, cousin, and grandparents) could go get some sushi for lunch and get some shopping done. I kind of got stressed out because I forgot to make a card of my friend whose birthday party I was attending later that day. So instead, my sister and I bought her a balloon and a stuffie/plushie/whatever you want to call stuffed animals. (I made the card for her on Sunday and gave it to her today when I saw her again.) Anyway, after getting lunch and doing some shopping, my sister and I went to my friend's birthday party and IT WAS CRAZY!!! There was SO MUCH FOOD, silly string, poppers, etc. We were having so much fun until things got out of hand and my friends and I kinda pissed off the birthday girl's cousin. (Oops.) But the party went on until 2 am. I couldn't stay for the entire thing but I'm sure it was lit asf.
Sunday was a relaxing day for me. I just went to go volunteer and did some driving practice with my dad. He says I'm getting better. I don't know, I still think I'm pretty bad at driving. I think I'm criticizing myself too much.
As for today, I went to my academy and we went hiking today. It was pretty fun (except for the little kids who just kept complaining because it was a bit of an uphill hike.) After that, I went bowling with my friends, ate at The Habit for the first time (got a Charburger with cheese and no pickles and a Coffee Malt), and then went back to my friend's house for some games and movies.
I have been having a blast these past four days. I hope the rest of this week is just as amazing. I also hope your spring break (if you're on spring break) is going great. Anyway, it is almost 11:30 pm and I got to go to bed so peace out friends. Enjoy your spring break.
YAY IT'S SPRING BREAK!!!!! I want to sleep in, relax, have fun, and not care able school you know?
But then there's the harsh reality of having midterms after spring break. That means that there's tests that need to be studied for and projects that have to be worked on over spring break. And unfortunately for me, I just so happen to have tests and projects due in all of my classes...well, all of my classes except for PE where we have to run a mile but that's all.
Although there are comps (midterms) after spring break, it does not mean I have to study ALL week long. So yesterday, I first went to the library to work on my English project for an hour. Then I went to Heritage Park for some outdoors times and exercise by climbing and jumping on the play sets because my academy teacher did not allow us to go on the Island. Previously, a student was jumping on the rocks on the island and broke his toe nail and it started bleeding so we are no longer allowed to go on the Island. There we had Costco pizza for lunch and then we went back to the academy. We just hung out until the students from the Cypress schools came because their spring break was last week and they have school now. Since most of the students were from the ABC School District, they were just playing outside with bubbles. I was supposed to be working in my classroom but 1) I did not have enough battery on my laptop to do anything, 2) it's spring break so I don't have homework, and 3) I would just be sitting there doing nothing while my sister was outside having the time of her life... with bubbles. So I decided to ditch class and play with the bubbles outside. I was told to go to my classroom before but I didn't listen (because I'm such a bad student). They let me play anyway. It was only my class that was working too (because my teacher is the goody two shoes that everyone hates). After playing with the bubbles, I texted my mom from my laptop with the small amount of battery I had left to come and pick me and my sister up early because we were not doing anything. After she picked us up, we went to Costco and Trader Joe's.
And that's how I started my spring break. Hope your spring break is just as entertaining, or better. I'll see you back at school on Monday everyone (from Whitney).
