As the seasons change (unfortunately the weather isn't in SoCal), the outfits change. So I was thinking about uploading my fall favorites. I have been posting about what I do every now and then but I haven't really showed you what I like. So for this fall, I'm going to post what I like during the fall whether it be nail colors, outfits, drinks (I promise my favorite Starbucks drink is NOT the pumpkin spice latte), and more.
In my opinion, fall would be my second favorite season because the weather is (supposed to be) perfect and it's time for the sweaters to come back from sitting in my closet for far too long. Even though I love summer because of the sun and long days, I miss wearing sweaters and being comfy in my sweats, tea, and books. Since fall did officially start a few days ago, I guess it's time to say goodbye to summer and hello to fall.
Hey guys! This is going to be a mix of a Tour of The City and a Weekly Update. So this week was the first week of school for me and OMG it was the longest week ever. I had so much homework and it has only been the first week. During the breaks, I played frisbee with a few friends, but other than that, it has been constant homework and reading. Most of you might be annoyed but sorry about that. Anyways, this week was pretty dull except on Tuesday it was my birthday and thank you to everyone who told me happy birthday. I thank you all. And then yesterday, I started trying on contacts. I'm still practicing but if I come to school without my glasses, I'm just wearing contacts. Then today, I went to Malibu. I wanted to go to the Getty Villa but I did not make the reservations so my family just ended up going to the Malibu Country Mart, where we ate lunch at the Country Kitchen which is really great. I ordered the Tuna Melt Wrap with Swiss cheese and it was really good. It has tuna with your choice of swiss, provolone, or cheddar cheese, tomatoes, and guacamole on a "big" tortilla. (I don't know why big is in quotes.) After lunch, we went to Starbucks and don't ever order the iced coffee. It was super watery and there wasn't enough coffee. It was just bitter water. It's nasty. Anyway, we, then, went to the Malibu Lagoon State Beach where I got a bit of a massage from the rocks and got to watch some people go surfing. While my family was away from our stuff, a bird landed nearby and it looked like it was protecting our stuff. It was great. We had our own bird guardian. After going to the beach, we went home and that is it for this week. Today was also my first day wearing my contacts and I will have to say, they were not that bad. Anyway, that's it for this week.
If any of you wildcats are reading this, don't forget, next week is spirit week and on Tuesday it is Athlete Day so come dressed in your athletic apparel. Let's go Wildcats!!!
Also, here is a little video I put together from my little trip.
