read if you want. I don't care.
Since I have never done a book review, I thought why not write one today? So here it is.
BOOK NUMERO 1:
Before I Fall by Lauren Oliver
This book is about a girl named Samantha (no I did not suggest this book because the main character's name is the same as mine) who is a high school senior who has been living her popular high school life like it was nothing until she died. But the thing is, she woke up after the accident and relived the same day again...several times. Thoughout the days, she tried to change her future but she kept reliving it. All she wants is for it to stop.
For this book, I feel like it is good if you like the idea of twisting endings. I don't really get this book review thing.
BOOK NUMERO 2:
The Summer I Turned Pretty by Jenny Han
A girl named Isabel "Belly" has always gone to Cousins every summer to spend time with her friends, Jeremiah and Conrad. They are Belly's mom's best friend's kids. They have spent every summer together and their bonds have just become like no other. Belly is destined to be with one of the two and goes through some trouble figuring out which one is supposed to be hers. This is actually a trilogy and it is currently 20% off at Target for the entire trilogy.
I really like this trilogy. To me, it's the perfect romance novel to read whenever.
Well, winter break is coming to an end so I am going to recap on everything I have done in the two weeks away from the hell we call school. Last Monday, I went to Universal Studios for Grinch-mas, and it was like a last visit to Hollywood for this year. My family went to watch the same shows and we rode the same rides for one last time this year. Then every day after, my sister and I have gone to my academy for 3 hours to just read, do some writing, and take time away from our electronic devices, except for Christmas and New Years.
After 12, my mom would pick us up and we would have the rest of the day to do whatever we wanted like go shopping, clean up the house a little, relaxing, or go to the park. On Christmas, it was my sister's birthday so we have a party to celebrate. After the party, my older cousin, Jessica, stayed at our house and we had a sleepover. Instead of sleeping in our rooms, we all slept in the living room on the couchs. It was so fun and on New Years Eve, we will have another sleepover with our two younger cousins and grandparents as well. This has been the best winter break I've ever had with my family.
