read if you want. I don't care.
Since this school year started, I have seen so many Instagram post of bullet journals and how to set one up. That got me interested in starting one myself, so I did. I purchased any journal that I could find on Amazon with no prior research on which journal would actually be useful for me. So far, they have been working wonders for me. In this post, I'll be sharing with you a flip-through of March and a couple spreads for April. Here I have a "flip-through" of March. Since the beginning of 2018, I wanted to make the monthly cover pages more of a theme-setter. I would provide the color(s) of the month to appear on that page and would make sure to include them in my monthly spread, habit trackers, pictures, and weekly spreads. Notice that in every spread, I used different shades of green to go with the overall theme of the month. Also if you need some help with all the terms, I added a caption for all the pictures saying what they are and a little bit of why I designed it like that. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - And since we've just started April, I started working on my April spreads, and instead of having a colored theme like I did for March, I decided to make the theme for April related to Alice in Wonderland. With April Fools being the first day of April, it only made sense to start April with some madness. (Haha get it..since there's the Mad Hatter.) That being said, here's a bit of my April spreads. And that's all I have for this article. I really hope you enjoyed reading and looking at my bullet journal. I really enjoy putting it together every month and I definitely plan on continuing with this because it's just so fun. Down below are some of the common questions I get when people see me bullet journaling. Thanks for reading and happy April! Common Questions:Q: What supplies do I use for bullet-journaling?
A: When I first started bullet-journaling, I bought a Northbooks dotted journal, a black brush pen from Daiso, and a MACH 3 with liquid ink 0.38 from Morning Glory. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Q: Do you do everything yourself? A: Yes! Yes, I did. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Q: How long does it take for you to finish each spread? A: I like to spend at least an hour for each spread because I love how to spend more time with my art. It's really calming and it helps me take my mind off of things. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Q: Why did you start bullet journaling? A: I started bullet-journaling because I like personalizing my journals. I love buying stationery and I often spend more money on extra accessories to make my journals more "me" but then I realized I can make my journals represent me by creating the themes myself.
