Hey guys! So I was thinking, why does everyone always go to Starbucks? I mean, there has got to be another place just as great as Starbucks, maybe. There has always been that coffee shop on South Street. Why not give it a shot?
I went to that coffee shop -it's called It's A Grind- and I ordered the usual iced coffee, but I thought, let's get something sweet with my coffee. So I ordered the apple pie. OMG that apple pie was amazing. Honestly, normally I don't eat pie but this apple pie was amazing. It was not too sweet and it was just perfect. If you guys ever get the chance, it is one that such definitely be tried whether you like pie or not. But the coffee on the other hand, I don't think I ordered it correctly. It came out super bitter and even after adding about six packets of sugar, it barely got better. That's my take on It's A Grind. If you have been there before and you loved something there, comment it below because I would love to try new things.
If you want to try it, there's one on South St. Here's the address:
13295 South St, Cerritos, CA 90703
Hey guys so on Friday, it was my dearest friend's birthday and for her birthday, instead of getting her a card like I do every year, I decided to kick it up a notch. I went out and made her a red velvet cake with some help from my sister. This is actually the first time I have made a cake so it was really interesting. Since her birthday was yesterday, I did not want the cake to be bad so I decided to make it that morning. It was interesting. But it came out amazing. Here is the cake below.
On Saturday, I went to my other friend's birthday party. At first I thought it was going to be super small since in the group chat, almost everyone could not come and I thought it was only going to be this group of people. Boy was I wrong. It was a party for her friends and family. There was about 50 people there. It was super fun. We ate tacos from Holé Molé, I got to know some of her relatives, and we played games. By the way, the team I was on won the games. For the games, we had to eat food, blow up beach balls, sit on balloons, make the beach balls go into hula hoops, untie knots and put a puzzle together. It was honestly the best birthday party I've been to in a while. The prize was Sour Patch Kids, Crunch, Kit Kat, and a $10 Regal giftcard. I also got to keep a mason jar because I put my drink in there. I wish I took more pictures but here's what I have.
So if you guys are ever in a rush in the morning and you want a bagel and a cup of coffee to start the day, then Einstein Bros Bagel is the place to go. They make amazing bagels and there are so many different kinds of bagels. You can get a plain bagel with a cream cheese of your choice or a bagel sandwich. Along with a variety of different bagel combinations, you can get a cup of "darn good coffee." Recently, I went to get some breakfast at the Einstein Bros Bagel in Long Beach after getting a blood draw, and I got the Nova Lox on a toasted garlic bagel. My sister got The Herbivore on a plain bagel, and my dad got the Santa Fe with one egg. In the Nova Lox, I thought it was salty but it is really good. It has smoked salmon, raw red onions, a slice of tomato, and capers on a bagel with plain cream cheese. Since I got it on a garlic bagel, it was just a bit more salty but if you order it, make sure you have some gum after you eat. You will definitely have to freshen up after all the garlic and onions. If you want a bagel that's a bit cleaner, The Herbivore is perfect. It has cucumbers, tomatoes, and arugula on a bagel with garden vegetable cream cheese. When I ate it, it just felt so refreshing because it wasn't heavy and it had only vegetables hence the name. But if you want the classic McDonald McMuffin with a hint of spice, you should get the Santa Fe bagel sandwich. It has a sausage patty with cheese and a over-easy egg on a bagel with the jalapeño salsa cream cheese.
Well I hope that gave you a little more of an option for when you are going out for a breakfast run. If you guys have any suggestions for where I should eat next, just leave it in the comments. Thanks mucho.
Hey guys! I'm back with another food review and the place is called Albertaco's Mexican Food. "This Mexican eatery offers hearty portions of standard Tex-Mex fare with a convenient drive-thru." (Wikipedia)
My personal favorite is the California Burrito. It contains french fries, cheese, carne, and sour cream. It may sound fattening, but it's delicious. It will make you feel so full that you will not want to eat for hours. But I heard that another good one to try there is the Shrimp Burrito. It is said to be eaten and then you will be craving for more after the first one. And these burritos are not like the snack ones from Lunchables. These burritos are like sodas filled to the brim. It's so fat that sometimes the bag breaks if there are too many burritos in the bag. But if you don't like burritos, there are also tacos, combination plates, fries nachos, tortas, tostadas, quesadillas, enchiladas, and kids meals as well. So if you're a fan of Mexican food, this is the place for you.
I just know that there are eight locations in SoCal.
The one I go to is 5894 Lincoln Ave, Cypress, CA 90630.
If you're still unsure with my review, check them out on Yelp. Hope you guys try this place because it's one that is so worth the wait.

Hello everyone of the beautiful Internet! I heard that some students are already going back to school soon, so I wanted to just share what I thought about the new school year, what you might want to know, and more.
So for the new school year, I only hope for everyone to start off strongly. Always stay on top of your grades, like always do extra credit no matter how many points you will get out of it because if you do the extra credit, it can be a buffer for you if your grades slip a little. For all the kids going to high school this year, just remember that freshman year is the easiest and it's only going to get harder. It will slowly get more and more difficult as you get older. Other than the fact that freshman year is the easiest, life is only going to get more and more difficult the older you get.
Anyways, I know some people like to get one of almost EVERYTHING when they go back to school but let's be real. Unless you are one of the rare people who use everything they buy, the other stuff like colored pencils and markers, etc. only get to be used like once or twice in the school year and then you're done with it.
Here you are:
WHAT YOU REALLY NEED FOR SCHOOL!!!
So if you are going back to school soon or you already started, make sure that you don't spend too much on school supplies and always be productive with the new school year. School may be dreadful to go to, but it also provides lots of information that should be known.
Hope you all start the school year strong and end it more inspired and knowledgeable. Good luck to everyone!
